A little introduction from Becky...
Hello, and welcome to Poppet & Petal!
Poppet & Petal began with a little black cat who I adopted from The Blue Cross in Thirsk. Her name is, of course, Poppet, and she quickly became the heart behind everything I wanted to create. She loves cuddles, following me all around the house and chicken, if she's lucky!
When it came to naming my little business, I knew I wanted Poppet to be part of it. The word poppet means "darling", and paired with petal, it perfectly captured the cosy, whimsical world I dreamed of creating. I also have a soft spot for alliteration, so it felt like the perfect fit.
Every item you see here is lovingly designed and made in North Yorkshire, inspired by countryside walks, wildflowers, cosy homes and, of course, our furry friends. My hope is that each piece brings a little joy, whether you're treating yourself or choosing a thoughtful gift for someone special.
